Description
The Care Management Specialist monitors and coordinates behavioral health and substance use disorder services across the Saginaw County Community Mental Health Authority network. The role performs preauthorization and concurrent utilization reviews, eligibility assessments, care planning, provider and consumer communication, utilization profile analysis, provider training, and process improvement. It reports to the Manager of Utilization and Care Authorization, requires a master’s degree in a mental health-related field and at least five years of progressive experience, and offers an annual pay range of $69,328.99 to $86,426.61 plus a $6,000 recruitment bonus.
