Description
The Care Manager is a fully remote, contract-to-hire pharmacy support role based out of Durham, North Carolina. Responsibilities include contacting patients and providers, verifying insurance eligibility, investigating benefits, assisting with prior authorizations and copay assistance, supporting patient and provider enrollment in assistance programs, and providing medical billing and reimbursement support. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of pharmacy, medical billing, insurance verification, or related healthcare experience, and customer service experience; previous patient support and healthcare customer service experience are preferred. The pay range is $21.00 per hour, with potential medical, dental, vision, retirement, disability, and other benefits.
