Description
The Career Preparation Instructor provides career preparation instruction to Job Corps students, develops and updates lessons, counsels students on employability, independent living, and job-search skills, manages training areas and records, administers tests, and supports student progression through the program. The role is full time, pays $50,000 annually, and is based at the Joliet Job Corps Center in Joliet, Illinois. A high school diploma or equivalency, strong written and verbal communication and computer skills, and a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record are required.
