Description
A private family in Beechhurst, New York is hiring an experienced caregiver to support a senior gentleman with Alzheimer’s or dementia. The caregiver will assist with morning routines, prepare breakfast, help with dressing, transport the senior to and from a local Senior Day Program, and provide companionship and basic afternoon meal preparation. The preferred split schedule is 8:00–10:00 AM and 3:00–5:00 PM, with an alternative 9:00 AM–4:00 PM schedule. Candidates must have experience caring for seniors with Alzheimer’s or cognitive decline, a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, a reliable personal vehicle, and the ability to navigate stairs. Compensation is $30.00–$32.00 per hour based on experience, and applicants must pass a background check and provide proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
