Description
The Direct Support Professional provides direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential or periodic community programs. Responsibilities include implementing individualized service plans, assisting with personal care, activities of daily living, medication administration, health monitoring, transportation, community integration, recordkeeping, and reporting incidents. The role may involve driving individuals, performing housekeeping and minor maintenance, and working at the program location or in the community. It is a non-exempt full-time or part-time hourly position with no supervisory responsibilities.
