M’akola Housing Society is hiring a full-time Caretaker in Victoria, British Columbia, for 35 hours per week from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The role involves regular building inspections, garbage removal, posting notices, maintaining basic mechanical systems, assisting with unit turnovers and inspections, participating in an after-hours on-call rotation, and performing minor repairs such as touch-up painting, drywall patching, and plumbing fixture recalking. The position requires at least three years of building maintenance experience, applied trade knowledge, MS Office and iPad proficiency, a Class 5 driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and completion of First Aid Level 1 and WHMIS training.
