Description
The Schleswig-Flensburg District is hiring a Caretaker (Facilities Manager) for the Vocational Training Centre (BBZ) and the Social Centre in Kappeln. The role serves as the first point of contact on site, coordinates cleaning staff, monitors road safety and house rules, inspects and operates technical facilities, performs minor repairs, maintains outdoor facilities, and covers weekend, shift, emergency standby, winter, flag, and lock-up duties. Applicants need completed training as a Plumbing, Heating and Ventilation Systems Technician, experience in the profession, a class B or 3 driver’s license, German language knowledge, and strong interpersonal skills. The position is full-time or part-time, starts on 1 January 2027, and is paid under pay group 5 TVöD.
