Description
The Handler screens cargo in compliance with TSA rules, participates in CCSP training, and performs X-Ray, physical search, and trace-detection duties while commanding a trained working dog. The role requires a minimum four-to-eight-week team training course and certification before mobilization, along with canine care, training-record maintenance, and ongoing security clearances. Compensation is $30–$32 per hour, with a Moyock rate of $15 per hour. The position requires U.S. citizenship, at least one to two years of operational detection-dog experience, a valid driver’s license, adequate transportation, and the ability to work variable schedules, travel, and physically demanding conditions.
