Description
The Carpenter is responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining wooden structures such as window frames, doors, stairs, porches, furniture, cabinets, and shelving. The role involves reading blueprints, measuring and calculating materials, cutting and assembling wood and related materials, installing and finishing structures, coordinating with other trades, maintaining safety and inventory controls, and supporting training and documentation. The position requires demonstrated carpentry experience, practical carpentry skills, tool proficiency, blueprint interpretation, safety compliance, basic mathematics, secondary education or equivalent, and completion of a technical carpentry program or formal apprenticeship.
