Description
The Carpenter will perform skilled carpentry work constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining school buildings and facilities, including classrooms, offices, athletic facilities, and other school properties. Responsibilities include framing, installing doors and windows, repairing cabinetry, flooring, walls, and ceilings; inspecting facilities for maintenance or safety concerns; recommending repairs; collaborating with maintenance staff, administrators, and other trades; operating hand and power tools; maintaining work records; and responding to work orders. The role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
