Description
The Skilled Carpenter performs construction, installation, erection, maintenance, fabrication, and repair of wooden structures and fixtures, including architectural woodwork, millwork, trim, framing, drywall, and acoustical ceilings. The role involves measuring and cutting lumber, reviewing blueprints, operating power and manual tools, completing quality work, performing heavy physical labor, and following safety procedures. Applicants must be at least 18, able to perform basic math, work outdoors for prolonged periods, lift 40 pounds, and hold OSHA certification of 10 hours or more; on-the-job training is offered.
