The Carpenter plans, lays out, and performs carpentry work according to plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards, while inspecting work, improving methods, maintaining crew relationships, and ensuring materials and tools are available. The role requires reading and understanding drawings and specifications, using trade tools and equipment, effective communication, and at least one year of industrial or commercial construction carpentry experience depending on the stated level. It is safety-sensitive and involves frequent physical work, including climbing scaffolds, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in varying temperatures and outside conditions.
