Description
UT Southwestern is hiring a Carpenter for its Facilities team at the Dallas Campus, with possible assistance at other UTSW locations. The role performs general carpentry work involving alterations, construction, repair, and maintenance of building components such as floors, walls, stairways, doors, windows, partitions, and bookcases; removes and replaces hardware; installs flooring and ceiling materials; maintains tools; and may supervise trainees or maintenance workers. The position requires a high school diploma, GED, or vocational training, a valid Texas driver's license, and at least three years of skilled or journeyman-level carpentry experience in a commercial, institutional, or healthcare setting. It is scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM and is security-sensitive.
