Description
The Case Manager oversees services and supports for individuals in accordance with their identified outcomes, The Arc's mission and values, and applicable licensing and HUD requirements. Responsibilities include coordinating licensing, verifying placement appropriateness, maintaining compliance, referring families to community services, developing habilitation plans, conducting residence and vehicle checks, providing direct care support when directed, reporting suspected abuse or neglect, and directing assigned staff. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong communication and relationship-building skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment; an associate degree in Human Services, two years of social services experience with case management responsibilities, and one year in developmental disabilities are preferred. The applicant must reside in Anchorage, and the position offers a hiring bonus and up to four weeks of paid time off during the first year.
