Description
The Utilization Management and Case Management Nurse reviews assigned patients for medical necessity, utilization appropriateness, and setting of care; coordinates patient progression, discharge planning, and transitions; liaises with payers and treatment teams; and analyzes utilization patterns. The role requires an associate degree, recent acute-care experience, and RN licensure upon hire, with a bachelor's degree and case-management certification preferred. It is a full-time day-shift position with 72 hours bi-weekly, weekend and holiday rotation, and comprehensive health benefits.
