Description
Astor Services is hiring a Case Planner to provide in-home counseling and change-focused family interventions aimed at keeping children in their homes and improving parental functioning, family well-being, and child safety. The role maintains a caseload of 12–14 families, provides at least two face-to-face contacts per month, may require a late night per week, and includes crisis intervention, service planning, and coordination with schools, day care, mental health, substance abuse, and probation providers. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree and experience working with children and families, and must be willing to travel throughout the Bronx and, at times, the outer boroughs. The position offers an annual salary of $54,504–$59,954, along with paid leave, insurance, and other benefits.
