Description
SLCS is hiring full-time Case Workers for its Supported Independent Living (SIL) Program to support adults with developmental disabilities, mental health needs, addictions, acquired brain injuries, or fetal alcohol spectrum disorders. The role provides case planning, community-resource connection, life-skills education, risk assessment, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, documentation, and crisis intervention, including support for individuals who may become verbally or physically aggressive. It does not include personal care or medication administration. The program operates 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week, with 12-hour shifts and one 8-hour Saturday shift every two weeks. Compensation is $22.95–$24.82, with employer-paid benefits, paid vacation, RRSP contributions, and professional development support.
