Lowe's is hiring a Cashier to provide a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience in its home improvement stores. The role focuses on assisting customers at self-checkout, scanning and bagging items, managing cash registers, payments, and exchanges, answering customer questions, and maintaining a clean and safe workstation. The position may also involve helping other departments, stocking shelves, or moving carts, and may require occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores. Minimum qualifications include basic reading, writing, arithmetic, computer experience, physical ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods, and the ability to lift up to 10 pounds unassisted or over 15 pounds with or without accommodation; sales-related licensure or registration may be required by law. Retail or customer service experience and bilingual skills are preferred.
