The University of Hawai'i Hilo is hiring a Casual Academic Program Advisor for its Student Services, Student Support Services Program. This temporary full-time appointment may begin in October 2026 and may last up to 89 days, with a stated salary of $26.70 per hour. The role provides academic advising and student support to low-income, first-generation, and students with disabilities; coordinates workshops and internship activities; maintains student records; supports recruitment and grant compliance; and provides in-person office coverage. Applicants need a baccalaureate degree and one year of progressively responsible professional experience in student services, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, along with familiarity with grant-funded programs and student information systems.
