The City of Iqaluit is hiring a casual Program Representative – Personal Trainer for its Iqaluit Activity Centre Fitness Centre. The role provides individualized one-on-one fitness training, assesses client needs, develops exercise programs, leads training sessions, demonstrates proper techniques, and offers ongoing coaching and motivation. The position requires a personal trainer or coaching certification, First Aid and CPR-C, experience creating individualized fitness programs, experience working with varied clients, customer service experience, and excellent communication skills. It pays $32.92 per hour plus an $11.48 per hour settlement allowance, requires a criminal record check and tuberculosis test, and is open until filled.
