Description
The Casual Security Guard serves as the first point of contact for vehicle and pedestrian traffic at Vancouver Drydock, directing visitors, controlling access, conducting security patrols, monitoring CCTV and fire systems, managing parking and after-hours communications, and assisting emergency response. The role requires full on-site coverage at 203 East Esplanade, North Vancouver, with shifts that may occur 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Candidates need Grade 12 or equivalent, 3–5 years of security experience, First Aid training, a driver’s license, a Security Workers License, and strong communication and judgment skills; the estimated base salary is $64,800–$79,200.
