Casual Support Worker role with Pathways in New Plymouth, part of the Wise Group, supporting people experiencing mental illness and addictions through recovery-focused, community-based assistance. The role involves helping with appointments, advocacy, medication support, budgeting, daily living skills, community engagement, and household tasks, with a strong emphasis on Te Tiriti o Waitangi, recovery principles, and culturally responsive support. Applicants need a New Zealand driver’s licence, first aid, and preferably mental health/addictions support experience, with Health and Wellbeing Level 4 training required or to be commenced after hire.
