Description
This is a six-month or longer internship starting in December 2026 or January 2027, focused on catastrophe modelling and reinsurance. The intern will support project work involving Nat Cat perils research, data collection, model evaluation, climate-change studies, product development, tool automation, client service, and the APAC research network. The role may also involve treaty-reinsurance renewal, vendor and SCOR pricing tools, catastrophe portfolio modelling, and accumulation-control monitoring. Candidates should be interested in catastrophe modelling and reinsurance, have strong analytical and communication skills, and hold tertiary education in a numerate discipline such as actuarial science, engineering, mathematics, or computer science; SQL, VBA, GIS, or R programming skills are advantageous.
