Description
This is a six-month or longer internship starting in December 2026 or January 2027, focused on catastrophe modelling and reinsurance. The intern will support Nat Cat perils research, data collection, model evaluation, climate-change studies, product development, tool automation, client service, and the APAC research network, with potential exposure to treaty reinsurance renewals, vendor and SCOR pricing tools, portfolio modelling, and accumulation control. The role requires tertiary education in a numerate discipline such as actuarial science, engineering, mathematics, or computer science, along with analytical, communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills; SQL, VBA, GIS, or R programming skills are advantageous.
