The role covers category growth strategy, pricing, margins, product ranging, supplier negotiations, promotions, inventory performance, clearance and lifecycle management, and collaboration with marketing and store teams. Candidates should have experience managing product categories, portfolios or ranges, along with supplier negotiation, analytical, pricing, promotion, inventory, stakeholder management and communication skills; automotive or spare parts experience is highly regarded but not essential.
