Description
The role manages global or regional commodities by developing sourcing strategies, assessing suppliers and markets, conducting negotiations, managing supplier relationships, supporting new-product development procurement, and improving cost, quality, delivery, and supply continuity. It requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, at least five years of procurement, sourcing, consulting, buyer, or analyst experience, negotiation and vendor-assessment skills, strong communication and conflict-resolution abilities, and the ability to travel up to 30%.
