Description
The Cardiovascular Technologist performs specialized diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures, assists cardiologists and other physicians, positions patients, selects technical factors, monitors ECG and hemodynamic parameters, administers contrast and medication under physician direction, transmits images to PACS, and maintains image quality, equipment, infection control, radiation safety, and patient records. The role requires ARRT certification with Cardiovascular-Interventional or Cardiac Interventional advanced certification preferred, at least one year of relevant experience or completion of the specified residency program, CPR certification during probation, and ACLS certification within one year of hire. The position reports to the Clinical Manager of Cardiac and Vascular Services and offers an hourly range of $36.63 to $52.65, with health, dental, and vision insurance available after 30 days of employment.
