Description
The CDL-A Driver operates tractor-trailer combinations, garbage haulers, roll-off trucks, and straight or box trucks over intermediate distances between company or customer facilities, terminals, and landfills. The role involves safely transporting freight, conducting pre-trip inspections, loading and unloading cargo, securing loads, maintaining driver logs and required paperwork, and complying with federal, state, and local commercial vehicle regulations. The position requires a valid Florida driver’s license and CDL-A, at least two years of recent commercial driving experience or completion of an acknowledged training program, and the ability to work independently in varied weather and road conditions.
