160 Driving Academy is hiring a CDL Class A Instructor Trainer to teach students from pre-trip inspections through yard maneuvers and on-road driving, preparing them to pass their CDL exam. The role is based at a designated yard, involves hands-on instruction on automatic and manual transmissions, student progress tracking, incident reporting, yard upkeep, and occasional coverage at other regional yards. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Class A CDL with at least 24 months of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer driving experience, manual transmission experience, a clean motor vehicle record, DOT physical and drug and alcohol screening clearance, background check clearance, and strong communication and computer skills. Compensation is $26-$28 hourly, with merit increases, a monthly bonus pool, and other benefits.
