160 Driving Academy is hiring a CDL Class A Instructor Trainer to teach students hands-on Class A tractor-trailer driving skills in outdoor yards, including pre-trip inspections, yard maneuvers, and on-road driving. The role is based at a designated yard, follows a Monday-through-Friday schedule with occasional regional coverage, and includes yard upkeep, student progress tracking, incident reporting, and collaboration with instructors. Candidates must hold a valid Class A CDL, have at least 24 months of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer driving experience, be able to teach manual transmission, and meet MVR, DOT, background-check, and instructor-licensing requirements. Compensation is $28–$30 hourly plus performance bonuses, with medical and dental coverage, paid time off, relocation assistance, and a career path toward regional management.
