160 Driving Academy is hiring a CDL Class A Instructor Trainer to teach students hands-on Class A tractor-trailer driving skills in outdoor yards, including pre-trip inspections, yard maneuvers, and on-road driving. The role works with a team and Lead Instructor, maintains training records, reports incidents, supports yard upkeep, and may cover other regional yards. It requires a valid Class A CDL, at least 24 months of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer driving experience, manual transmission experience, a clean motor vehicle record, DOT physical and drug and alcohol screening, background check clearance, and strong communication and computer skills. Compensation is $26-$28 hourly plus performance bonuses, with medical and dental shared-expense benefits, paid time off, and a career path toward regional management.
