Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind is hiring multiple CDL Drivers in its Transportation Department in Talladega. The role provides safe and timely transportation for students, employees, and affiliates, maintains assigned schedules, conducts vehicle inspections, supervises students, handles emergencies and discipline issues, completes transportation documentation, and performs chaperone duties. Drivers must hold a valid CDL with School Bus and Passenger endorsements, meet physical, drug-screening, background, and FMCSA Clearinghouse requirements, and obtain wheelchair securement training and survival-level sign language proficiency after hire.
