Description
The role is a non-CDL/CDL Permit school-bus driver training position in which the employee studies Texas commercial driver materials, attends classroom and on-site training, passes written knowledge and road tests, and assumes charge of a bus while being trained behind the wheel. The employee is responsible for upgrading a current license to a Class B CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsements, maintaining attendance and communication with the Safety Team, and completing required safety and staff-development training. The position pays $16.50 per hour for non-CDL/CDL Permit work and $25.86 per hour for CDL work with no endorsements, with a maximum of 20 hours per week.
