Description
Rumpke is hiring Utility Drivers to service customers by collecting and hauling trash or recycling materials to disposal sites or recycling plants. The role operates various trucks, follows assigned routes, handles missed stops, delivers and replaces containers, cleans spills and truck equipment, maintains route and driver logs, and provides customer service. The position requires a valid Class A CDL, DOT medical card, at least 19 years of age, a valid driver’s license, English communication ability, and 1–2 years of CDL truck driving experience; waste industry experience is a plus. The work involves frequent truck entry and exit, lifting and pushing up to 75 pounds, outdoor and variable-weather conditions, and flexible hours including nights, weekends, and overtime.
