The remote CDN / Web Platform Engineer is a senior individual contributor responsible for the secure delivery, deployment, acceleration, and operation of high-traffic web applications. The role covers CDN configuration, edge computing, JavaScript-based edge functions, CI/CD automation, production change management, incident support, Core Web Vitals optimization, and security-integrated delivery pipelines. It requires 7+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years of hands-on CDN or edge-platform engineering, and strong expertise with Akamai or a comparable CDN, edge technologies, modern JavaScript, and release automation.
