Description
Volkert is hiring an experienced CEI Inspector to support its Southwest Region, primarily based in New Orleans, Louisiana, with additional locations potentially available in Baton Rouge, Monroe, and Shreveport. The role inspects construction work for compliance with contracts, standards, and specifications; tests materials and reviews plans; monitors contractor operations and utility relocation; documents records and calculations; and coordinates with contractors, subcontractors, utility owners, and property owners. Applicants need at least one year of progressive inspection-level experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, must be able to perform moderate physical activity and work nights and weekends, and must pass a pre-employment drug screening and provide a satisfactory motor vehicle report.
