Description
Apple is hiring a Field Design Engineer to evaluate unreleased iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch hardware and software systems in the field from early prototypes through final products. The role focuses on wireless and RF performance testing, including 5G NR, LTE/LTE-A, UMTS, antenna, RF, acoustics, thermals, GPS, and NFC validation; creating and evolving performance metrics; analyzing device logs; debugging user equipment issues; and collaborating with hardware, software, and cross-functional teams to identify root causes.
