Description
The Center for Marine Science at UNC Wilmington is hiring a pooled postdoctoral scholar to conduct research in one or more listed marine or coastal science disciplines. The role is typically a 12-month full-time appointment for a 1–2 year term, with possible continuation, and may include research oversight, project management, proposal and manuscript development, data acquisition, computational interpretation, and comprehensive data analysis in field and laboratory settings. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate in a listed science field conferred no more than five years before the appointment start date, with exceptions possible in exceptional circumstances.
