Wharton-Smith, Inc. is hiring an Operator (Heavy Equipment) for immediate openings in Central Florida and Jacksonville, with travel throughout Northeast Florida. The role operates heavy equipment such as backhoes, material handlers, excavators, dozers, and loaders for foundation excavation, site grading, material placement, and pipe laying. Candidates should have OSHA or manufacturer certification, preferably a high school diploma, on-the-job training, construction experience, a valid driver’s license, rigging training, transportation to the job site, and the ability to travel.
