Description
The Central Processing Technician will decontaminate, assemble, inspect, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and trays; operate autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners; maintain AAMI and AORN documentation; ensure timely instrument turnover; manage inventory; and communicate with operating room staff. The role requires CRCST or equivalent certification, sterile processing experience, knowledge of sterilization and infection prevention, and rotating shifts from 6:00 AM to 8:30 PM.
