Description
The Central Processing Technician will decontaminate, assemble, inspect, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and trays; operate autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners; maintain AAMI and AORN documentation; ensure timely instrument turnover; manage inventory; and communicate with operating-room staff. The role requires CRCST or equivalent certification, sterile-processing experience, knowledge of sterilization and infection-prevention standards, and strong communication and organizational skills. It is a full-time position with two rotating shifts on Mondays and Fridays between 6:00 AM and 8:30 PM, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
