Description
The Central R&D Senior Director supports the Vice President in leading and coordinating the Central R&D organization, translating strategic priorities into measurable objectives and KPIs, and driving execution across design, process, and product development. The role coordinates cross-functional R&D teams, monitors milestones such as tape-outs and yield targets, supports governance and executive reporting, and contributes to organizational design, workforce planning, and business transformation. It requires an advanced degree in electrical engineering, semiconductor physics, or a related field, at least 15 years of semiconductor R&D or engineering leadership experience, and global matrix-program leadership experience. The role can be based at one of ST’s manufacturing sites in Europe.
