Description
The CERT Officer responds to emergencies, high-risk incidents, and routine incidents at the Wilkinson County Correctional Facility in Woodville, Mississippi. The role assumes incident command, stabilizes and contains threats, provides treatment, documents incidents, conducts searches, supervises offenders, and maintains accountability. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a Mississippi or Louisiana driver’s license, at least one year of law enforcement, military, or related tactical emergency response experience, and availability on a 24/7 basis. The position pays $19.00 per hour and includes medical, vision, prescription drug, dental, life insurance, disability, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
