Description
The Certification Engineer supports aircraft project-specific certification activities by developing certification plans and compliance matrices, preparing cost estimates and schedules, producing test plans and substantiation data, reviewing regulatory compliance, and coordinating with customers, FAA, suppliers, and internal teams. The role requires a BS degree in engineering or a related scientific field, technical data analysis, Microsoft Office proficiency, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 10% of the time. The position is primarily office-based but may require occasional work in an industrial environment and the ability to maneuver around airplanes.
