Description
The Certification Engineer plans, coordinates, and executes aircraft certification activities for modifications, repairs, and certification programs. The role develops certification strategies, compliance plans, documentation, engineering substantiation, test plans, and Instructions for Continued Airworthiness; coordinates with engineering, production, quality, program management, customers, suppliers, and FAA, DER, ODA, and military authorities; and supports regulatory compliance, technical reviews, inspections, ground and flight testing, and continued airworthiness. The position requires a relevant bachelor's degree or related experience, aircraft certification experience, knowledge of FAA and military airworthiness requirements, and U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status.
