Description
The Certification Test Technician performs Fisher instrument product certification testing for hazardous locations, assembling components, setting up test equipment, conducting measurements, documenting compliance reports, maintaining calibration records, supporting audits, and coordinating with product development, test engineering, certification engineering, and third-party approval agencies. The role requires mechanical or electrical vocational training, experience with mechanical and electrical assembly, the ability to interpret schematics and technical documents, and familiarity with product testing standards; industrial control valve instrumentation and third-party approval experience are preferred.
