Description
The Anesthesia Assistant assists anesthesia providers under the supervision of the Chief of Anesthesiology or designee in direct patient care across infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Responsibilities include anesthesia care planning, induction, airway management, invasive monitoring, emergency procedures, equipment setup and troubleshooting, supply and inventory management, infection-control and sterilization, and participation in quality improvement, education, and professional development. The role also supports patient monitoring, room turnover, equipment maintenance coordination, and compliance with applicable laws and policies.
