The Certified ASL Interpreter provides professional American Sign Language interpreting services for Deaf and Hard of Hearing employees, applicants, and customers in a federal government environment. The role interprets between spoken English and ASL during meetings, training sessions, interviews, briefings, and other official activities, while maintaining confidentiality, professional conduct, and compliance with government security requirements. The position is part-time and ad-hoc, with assignments varying according to government interpreting requests.
