Description
The Athletic Trainer assists physicians with patient and athlete visits, obtains histories and vital signs, coordinates ancillary testing and lab work, provides discharge and injury-management education, supports return-to-play care, and participates in community outreach and presentations. The role also oversees and mentors student and intern athletic trainers, maintains clinic supplies and exam rooms, and coordinates with emergency services and other health-care providers. A bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Physiology, or a related field is preferred, no prior experience is required, and the position requires state athletic-trainer licensure.
