The Certified Medical Assistant will provide clinical and administrative support in the Regional Drug Dependency Unit at the Great Plains Area facility in Winnebago, Nebraska. Responsibilities include preparing patients for examinations and treatments, obtaining vital signs, assisting with specimen collection, administering delegated medications, monitoring patient conditions, maintaining medical records, scheduling appointments, coordinating referrals, managing clinical supplies, supporting billing and coding, and providing patient education and culturally sensitive support. The role requires a current CMA credential, BLS certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass a background check; behavioral health experience and familiarity with IHS policies are preferred.
